Please read the Rules before consulting this. The FAQ only meant to flush out things we might not have covered very clearly in the rules.
FAQ-and Questions that might arise
General
Q: Do I have to tell you my real name or answer personal questions?
A: Of course not. No mod will ever ask you for personal information. However people have a tendency to be friendly in the Cbox and “personal” topics like this might arise. Do not feel that you have to tell anyone anything about yourself that you don’t want to.
Q: Do I have to use the Cbox?
A: No, but that’s where all the cool kids are. XD Kidding. No, you don’t have to but sometimes its easier to use than the PM system if you have a lot to say.
Q: So-and-So wont stop asking personal questions and I’ve asked them to stop. What should I do?
A: PM a mod and we will ask them to stop. We want everyone here to feel safe, if for any reason you don’t feel safe, please let us know.
Q: So-and-so is saying offensive things and I don’t know what to do.
A: Please try to work out personal problems yourself. However, if it’s a CONSTANT problem and/or its about something that is making you uncomfortable then PM/Email a mod and we will try to work with you on getting the problem fixed.
Characters
Q: Do I have to play an Autobot?
A: No, that would make things quite boring.
Q: Can I be a "bad guy"?
A: It is our hope that people will play both "good" and "bad" characters.
Q: Can I make up my own race of aliens?
A: Yes, but you’re going to have to make a profile for the race.
Q: Can I be a cannon race of alien?
A: Yes.
Q: Can I be an alien from a race someone else made up?
A: If the race already has a profile in the Poke Dex, then you can play it. (Unless the Race Profile specifically says you can’t)
Q: How to I make a race profile?
A: Go here and follow the instructions.
Q: Can I be a Deception?
A: Yes.
Q: Can I be a D-Fem?
A: Yes, but there are some things you will need to know. Please check the Crash Course course section for more info.
Q: How do I get into those secret factions?
A:….what SECRET factions… Generally secret factions come to you if they have need for you…at least that is what I have heard *eyes you*
Q: Can I play a cannon character?
A: Only if you meet the requirements. Did you read the Rules?
Q: What are the requirements for playing a cannon character?
A: If you’re asking this, then you didn’t read the Rules.
Q: Can I be a Moderator.
A: No, but every once in a while moderators are recruited. Don't call us, we'll call you.
Q: I’m not going to be able to get on the site for longer than a week, what should I do?
A: If your not going to be able to post for longer than a week, please leave a message on the MIA board. Go to the MIA board for more instructions.
Q:So-and-so is sick/ has a broken computer/ is going out of town/has a deadline in a week, can I play their character?
A: Only if you talked about it and they said yes. We’ll need written permission from the character’s owner. See the MIA board for more instructions.
